Visits to lamda's home

Wow!! it was once again a marvelous trip to far far away to City of Kekanudura. As usual Lamda and Banda had arranged a dedicated Langama bus for the trip. Journey was nothing but filled with the trill and excitement. I'll leave comment about the food and bus ride to Sibba, and Gav. Here are the photos...

What a thrill ride it was! It was the first time I've been in a roller coaster, I mean a real one ;) Never knew they were allowed as public transportation. Well, kudos to the Kekanadura route. I was going to write a blog post about that, but eventually I got too busy back then. But here's a brief note.

We took the "dedicated Langama bus" from Lambda's place after a great lunch cooked by two professionals (Lambda's Dad and fiancee). The lunch was great, really. We waited in the usually bend waiting the arrival of our transportation. There is was, in a could of dust it galloped (literally) towards us. You are free to imagine any wild wild west tune for that. We raided it like cowboys. Maybe not exactly, we managed to hang. Then our roller coaster ride began.

Till we reached Matara, the ride kept us on the edges of the seats (thats when we were not high in the skies), screaming the roller coaster screams, of course and hanging on the front seat for dear life. I clearly remember a passenger getting prepared before getting down, i.e.: combing hair, wiping dust (may be sand too) from belongings, dress and herself.

Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed the rocky ride. And this is by no means a rant about public transportation. I appreciate the fact that their was any in that route which was under construction.

Ok, I'm done. Thanks Dilla for the post and the pics. I'll look forward to updates from Sibba (and Lambda & Banda if they ever read blogs).
